This year marks the 14th year of this national touring event! These magical events have and continue to save countless lives\, help rescues and shelters and have helped place countless dogs in loving forever homes. In addition to raising funds and awareness these events also include a velvet hippo (dog) adoption\, silent auction\, merchandise for sale and an amazing comedy show with some of the nations best comedians! \nWe are thrilled to be coming back to Denver and look forward to standing up for our inherently good dogs with all of you! The more people participate\, the more fun it will be!! \n  \nOn Saturday\, August 5\, ** local animal welfare organizations are joining forces for Denver’s **6th** Annual RELAY FOR RESCUE! Join in on the fun as we build awareness\, attract local supporters\, and raise money for each individual cause. You will compete for the coveted grand prize while completing a scavenger hunt. Tasks include a balloon hop\, locked elbows\, newspaper press\, and more. All for the animals! \nIt is $40 to participate and you receive a color-coordinating t-shirt that associates with the organization (“team”) of your choice\, a donation to your chosen charity\, and a SAFE way to have a lot of FUN. \nOur goal is to have over 500 participants and raise at least $25\,000 through registrations and sponsorships. So round up your animal loving friends\, family\, and co-workers near and far and get ready to show the nation that Denver still has what it takes to Relay For Rescue. \nMUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO PARTICIPATE \n*Register by *JULY 21* to guarantee your t-shirt size and color!\nSponsorship opportunities available.
