Chauncey is the perfect combination of two incredible breeds, the Bluetick Hound and Treeing Walker Hound. He is very affectionate and loves to curl up with his people. When he’s not napping Chauncey loves to romp and play with his foster sister. He does enjoy barking at dogs walking by and stalking the local squirrels. He has also been known to bark at dogs on TV from time to time. Chauncey has a lot to say about the world!
He rides well in a car and loads easily. He walks well on a leash and is potty trained. Chauncey needs a submissive canine companion, as he likes to be the alpha dawg. He is afraid of thunder, firecrackers and the vacuum can be a bit overwhelming as well!
Chauncey’s perfect home will have a six foot secured fence. His people will walk him and take him on weekend adventures. They will also understand that he has a supreme hound nose and he can’t be allowed off leash. Don’t let his droopy/sad eyes fool you, he is a happy go lucky pup! Chauncey is currently being fostered in Lakewood, Colorado.
