Stormie is a 5-6 year old female Blue Tick/Beagle Mix.
She is smaller than the average Blue Tick but taller than the average Beagle. Either way she is the perfect combination of both of these amazing breeds. It appears that Stormie had several litters of puppies during her life before she landed in rescue. Everyday she gets closer to getting back to her pre-baby body.
With that being said, it doesn’t appear that Stormie was abused in any way. She is confident around all humans. She is not afraid of men nor is she head-shy. In fact she adores men!! Stormie is one of the most loving dogs we have ever met. She literally likes to place her snout/mouth close to your face and sneak kisses any chance she gets. This girl also likes to curl up close and follow you around the house.
Let this be a cautionary warning to any person reading this bio: IF YOU DO NOT LIKE VELCRO DOGS-STORMIE IS NOT THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU! You must be open to affection, snuggles, love, and constant companionship. Stormie is the type of girl that will want to tag along with you to the coffee shop on Sunday morning. She will expect her own scone though. This girl is a foodie through and through. She is vocal and insistent while you prep her meals. She would never allow you to forget what time it is…especially if it’s close to dinner.
Stormie’s perfect home will have a small-large six foot fenced backyard. She needs to be allowed to curl up on the furniture and sleep in bed with her humans.
KIDS? STORM DAWG LOVES THE KIDS!!! No children under 10 please as she will take full advantage of toddlers/young children walking around with snacks etc. but she LOVES the preteens.
Stormie is up to date on vaccinations, pre-scheduled for her spay. She is being fostered in Aurora, Colorado.
