This little guy needed a name to fit his big personality. And that’s how we landed on Tractor!
It’s hard telling why this pint-sized dog wound up in need of rescue. But we sure are glad he’s with us now. This little dude will do great with dogs that are easygoing and understand the little dogs run the world!
And while he hasn’t been cat tested we are pretty sure that he wouldn’t mind sharing his space with a few felines.
Tractor walks well on a leash, is potty-trained, and rides well in the car.
His foster mom kennel’s him for short bursts of time while she runs errands. He is not a big fan! He can be vocal when crated.
Tractor’s ideal home will have a human that understands the Schnauzer mindset. They’ll have a secured and fenced yard for him to romp in, but will also carve time out for walks and adventures. Tractor knows which humans he wants to interact with. His new family will take their time letting him get to know the lay of the land. They’ll allow him to form bonds with humans on his own schedule.
Tractor has been prescheduled for his vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test, and grooming.
He is currently being fostered in Denver.
