Chief is a 5-year-old male Bloodhound with a heart as big as his floppy ears.
Chief is incredibly loving and gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great with a canine companion to help him feel secure.
To Chief’s surprise he was one day dropped at a shelter, abandoned by his family. We don’t understand why. He is not a counter surfer, nor a mess maker. He’s housebroke and a lover of naps on cool floors. He’s done well at adoption events and is always eager to meet new guests in the house. He’s small for his breed which works in his favor.
