Congratulations Doe, you got adopted!!
Doe was rescued off the side of the road in January after she was hit by a car. The veterinarian that nursed her back to health and repaired her broken leg found the perfect adopter for her. Fast forward to April, though, and her adopters could not keep her because they were forced to move into housing that didn’t allow pets.
Doe has not been abused or neglected. To no fault of her own, she just hasn’t found the right long term living situation.
Things you should know about Doe:
- She LOVES to play ball. We think that is the black lab shining through.
- She is potty trained and walks well on a leash.
- She gets along with all dogs of any size.
- She has excellent manners.
- She loves to cuddle up next to her human on the couch.
- She is good with kids.
- We haven’t cat tested her but, we are pretty sure she’ll love them too.
- She is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative, and chipped.
- She is currently being fostered in Aurora, Colorado.
