We Love Lucy! This pretty girl Lucy is a little shy, but learning to trust and love again, looking for a family who will be patient and gentle!
Lucy was an outside dog until coming to the rescue, and she wasn’t taught any manners or commands. Now that she is in a foster home, she has really taken to the bed and is a couch potato. It has taken her some time to start to open up and give kisses and tail wags, but she’s learning!
Lucy’s perfect family will love her, and want to hang out with her. She does well with the chaos of one toddler, and she could handle more kiddos just fine, as long as they are respectful. Other dog not absolutely needed, but it’s always nice to have a friend. Her people won’t expect her to go out hiking 14ers, but a little bit calmer lifestyle.
Lucy is extremely affectionate and loves to snuggle, once she’s learned that you are willing to pet her! She’ll nudge you with her nose when she’s asking for more attention.
