Meet Steve, a five-month-old Chihuahua Dachshund mix who is looking for a forever home in Colorado. Steve is a rescue dog with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. He may be small in size, but his personality is larger than life.
Steve is a smart pup who has already learned the word “no” and is crate trained. He is always eager to learn new things and would love to continue his training with his new family. His crate is his safe space and he is content to spend time there while his humans are away.
Steve gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with his furry friends. He would be a great addition to a family with another dog who can keep up with his energy. He is also happy to snuggle up with his humans on the couch and give puppy kisses.
One of Steve’s favorite things to do is to use the dog door to go outside and explore. He is almost house trained and with just a little more time will be able to let his humans know when he needs to go outside. Steve loves to be outside and would enjoy going on walks and short hikes with his new family.
