My name is Luxie, originally from Cincinnati, and now in Denver.  In the last year, I have been through lots of transitions and am still working on getting more grounded. Oh my goodness, where to begin….So many great things about me.  You know, being fabulous can be hugely credited to my breed, Blue Tick Coon Hound. I have beautiful ticks/spots and my eyebrows…let’s just say many humans would kill to have amazing eyebrows like mine!

 

I am a very loving girl and adore sitting on the couch with my humans. Going on walks and/or runs is like the best EVER! However, given that I am a hound, I will stop and smell the roses or anything else that is interesting to my sniffer. I am a really smart dawg and know several basic commands, sit, wait, stay, and park it (aka go to bed). Other important facts about me are, I must be an only dawg….no cats, no other dawgs, and probably no small children. I  have been known to guard my food, but that’s due to my early years. I haven’t told anyone much about that. Let’s just say that it’s best for you guys not to know how some humans behave; however, in the last year, I have had excellent, loving care. At times, I am a little anxious and can get overwhelmed,  but remember that I have been through lots of changes this last year. I am current on all my vaccinations, chipped and on preventive heartworm medication.  I just know my furever family is out there, and I can hardly wait to love you!
