ADOPTED – CONGRATULATIONS SYDNIE!!!
Sydnie came to us in 2013, and we helped her find her perfect family, a kind man named John. Syd spent the next 8 years with John and her canine sister Bella. It was the perfect Happily Ever After story! John provided the type of home that every rescuer dreams of for their babies. He frequently sent updates to our rescue, and always remarked on how amazing Syd is!
But then, John had to go to the hospital and he never came home. Unfortunately, John didn’t have any family that could take the girls in, so Syd made her way back to us. Her sister Bella was taken in by another local rescue.
Sydney is currently living with 4 humans, 2 dogs, and a 1 cat in her foster home. Despite her life being turned upside down, she has acclimated well. She gets along famously with all of the members of the household. Our beautiful ‘Golden Girl’ is potty trained, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and loves to take long leisurely naps. She has no health issues at all.
We know it’s a long shot that someone might be willing to open their home to a older dog. But, we think there are still many good humans in the world that know how special life can be when sharing it with a senior dog.
Senior animals make some of the best companions because they are potty trained, don’t chew things up, don’t pull on a leash, and like to take things in stride. So if you are looking for the perfect Netflix and chill dog, Sydnie ‘Golden Girl’ could be the right fit for you.
Syd is currently being fostered in Centennial, Colorado.
