Welcome to Colorado Annie!! This little girl is a super sweet, loving hound dawg, looking for love with the perfect family! Annie loves to cuddle on the couch with her people and wants to have a paw or head resting on the closest person to her. She can entertain herself by chewing on toys and tossing them in the air, and is surprisingly non-destructive for a dog her age.

Annie has recently learned to fetch, though she’s still working on the “drop it” stage. She also loves her walks and is steadily improving at walking on a leash, though she is a puller! With her strong hound’s instinct for chasing bunnies and squirrels, Annie must always be on a leash and have a yard. So far, she seems to just have curiosity around cats. Annie is crate-trained and house-trained. She is food motivated, so will be a great candidate for further learning!

This sweet girl would do best in an active home! She likes to be around people doing things! Annie has done well with her foster dog-brother but can be pushy for attention, so might do best as an only dog. Her ideal home needs a yard with a six-foot privacy fence, and her family must be committed to on-leash walks, as she will pursue scents! She can spot rabbits and squirrels out a window, and will let you know they’re there. Annie is a bit of a counter cruiser, so the right home for her will need to be committed to consistently training with her and using positive reinforcement.
